It’s such a pleasure to have you here with me, to share your story; I figured it would be a perfect time to share mine.

   My name is Jordyn Straight, I am from Saginaw, MI. My best friends would say I am funny, “the nicest girl they ever met” (I don’t know about that..), gifted, and very caring. I am an outdoorswoman and love fishing, hiking, and pushing my boundaries. I have an amazing, supportive and loving fiancé who I bought a lovely home with in Bay County, MI. where we share our two cats— Bruce & Betty. I have 3 beautiful younger sisters who are creatively intelligent women who are down to earth just like their big sister. I have always had an itch for anything that I could create, whether it be dying my hair every color of the rainbow at 16 years old to taking my sisters & best friends photos for them.

   Growing up, I always wanted to be something. I had so many ideas of what I could settle down on; but none of them completely stuck with me the way photography has over the past 20 years. There is not much more that I love than being able to capture that perfect shot, in that crazy angle that will give you a kink in your neck— finding out it is the shot of your dreams.

   I have had many hardships in these past 30 years, but God has always been my Savior. He has always led me to the right path, as he has the plan and I just follow it by following my heart like Christ would. I am 6 years sober and very proud to share my testimony about my journey through sobriety.

   Last but not least, I wanted you to know that this is always a safe space for you to capture the most important and vulnerable moments with me. The only judgement in this space is God’s. Being an empath, I find it absolutely phenomenal to be able to use my gift to help you create your own photography or videography session of your dreams.
