I honestly don’t even know where to start!

I signed up for Jordyn’s Stranger Session completely outside of my comfort zone, knowing absolutely nothing about the person I was going to meet not his name, what he looked like, nothing. And somehow Jordyn absolutely NAILED the match.

You could tell she genuinely put time, thought, and effort into pairing us. From the second we arrived, she made the entire experience feel exciting, comfortable, and FUN instead of awkward which is pretty impressive considering we were two complete strangers being asked to get very close very quickly.

What I appreciated most was how intentional she was about making sure we were BOTH comfortable. She checked in with us individually, made sure we were okay with the poses and level of closeness, gave great direction, hyped us up, laughed with us, and kept everything light and playful. She never made anything feel forced.

I also loved how real Jordyn was throughout the whole experience. She openly shared that she was nervous and excited too, which somehow made the anticipation even better. You could genuinely feel how invested she was in the experience right along with us.

But one of my favorite parts of all of this has been watching Jordyn get the recognition she deserves.

Because yes, people connected with our story but Jordyn created the space where that story could happen. She had an idea, took a chance, thoughtfully chose two strangers she believed would connect, and then captured something incredibly genuine.

I went into this hoping to push myself outside of my comfort zone, have a fun experience, and hopefully get some great pictures.

Instead, I walked away having laughed more than I expected, feeling completely comfortable with someone I had literally just met, with beautiful photos and videos documenting it all and somehow became part of something that has reached thousands of people.

Jordyn, watching your page explode this past week has been incredible, and you deserve every bit of it. You created something so much bigger than just a photo session. You created an experience and somehow invited thousands of people along for the ride.

Thank you for putting so much thought into us, for making us feel safe enough to completely embrace the experience, and for capturing the beginning of a story that none of us saw coming.

No matter where that story goes from here, this is an experience I will absolutely never forget.
